Masters Security football club can breath a sigh of relief after managing to defeat Mlatho Mponela 2-1 in a TNM super league match.

The 2018 calsberg cup winners took the lead through a Bernard Chimayimba converted spot kick with Zeliati Nkhoma scoring the other goal.

Jafali Chance formally of Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers scored Mlatho Mponela’s consolation.

Caretaker coach for the club, Jabilu Malilo said he hope this is a start for better results.
“Honestly speaking we have been struggling to get good results this season. Am happy the boys fought hard and made sure we collect maximum points to keep our survival hopes alive.

If the boys continue with the kind of spirit shown today, Am hoping for the best results in our next game”, he said.

The area 36 based team has been struggling to register a win in the elite league this season. Currently they are on position 16 with 17 points from 21 games.

Last season the team was a top performer as it finished on position 4 in the league.
