Blue Eagles Football Club have released and loaned out players ahead of the 2019 season.
The Area 30 based side has released Beston Jimu who follows the earlier release of Rudo Magombo and has loaned out Patrick Thawale, Semu Banda, Chakonda Majanga and Pachalo Kumilonde.
Coach for Blue Eagles, Deckleck Msekakuona said this has been done after a proper assessment on the players. “We want to have those players who are in our plans as we have set targets to win trophies this season and we are loaning out these players so that they should have more game time where they will go so that by the time Eagles will want them back, they should have improved much better “, Msakakuona said.
In the 2018 season, Blue Eagles won the Airtel Top 8 cup after defeating Nyasa Big Bullets in the finals, a cup they will fail to defend this year having finish on position 11 in last year’s TNM Super League.
