Mlatho Mponela Football Club has handed Eddington Ng’onamo the coaching role as they have started their preparations for life in the TNM Super League.
Confirming the development, the club’s general secretary Yohane Banda said they believe Ng’onamo has the potential to take the team to greater heights in the Super League.
“Ng’onamo has been with us in the Central Region Football League as Technical Director and for that reason he knows our style of play and because he has the required CAF B licence as per club licensing rules by FAM”, Banda said.
In the CRFL Mlatho Mponela was coached by Bonwell Chisenga and Hellings Mwakasungula which Banda said they will still be part of the team.
“Mwakasungula and Chisenga do not have the CAF B licence but that will not make us to part ways with them as we want them to still help us in shaping the team”, said Banda.
