Mlatho Mponela Football Club has chosen Kasungu Stadium to be their home ground in their debut season of the TNM Super League.
Confirming the development, Chairperson for the club John Banda said they have made the decision as a token of appreciation to their fans. “Kasungu Stadium is the closest stadium to our home Mponela and we have chosen Kasungu Stadium to give our fans, who have been with us in the premier division a chance to watch us play in the TNM Super League as they can affordably travel between Mponela and Kasungu than to far distance stadiums”
Mlatho Mponela Football Club will play in the Super League after being crowned champions of the Chipiku Stores Central Region Football Association League and they will share Kasungu Stadium as their home ground with TN Stars Football Club who survived the heat of the top flight league in their debut season.
