Super League clubs have commended the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) for the club licensing workshop they conducted over the weekend.
One of the participating teams, Silver Strikers through its General Secretary Charles Yobe said they have learned a lot from the workshop that will help teams and football development.
“The workshop is an eye opener to us clubs on how we have to organise our clubs in line with club licensing issues plus the proper procedures we should follow when buying or selling players”, said Yobe.

FAM’s Club licensing manager Casper Jangale said “from this season we will be strict on every club to follow what the rules of club licensing say unlike in the past when we were a bit lenient to the clubs who short of club licensing procedures”.

FAM held the Club Licensing and Mpira Connect workshop over the weekend at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe as one way of shaping teams a head of the 2019 season.
