The Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) will on Saturday 23 February 2019 conduct a stakeholders meeting as they prepare for the 2019 Thumbs Up season.

The meeting which is to be held at Football Association of Malawi’s headquarters, Mpira Village in Chiwembe Blantyre has been organised to allow people who run football in the league.

General Secretary for SLFA, Kingsley Simbeyi said they expect all involved stakeholders to be available for the meeting.
“The meeting is to involve all the teams that participated in the league last year and those want to participate this year both in division 1 and premier division plus referees, administrators and every other stakeholder of football in our league, that we brain storm on how best we have to run the league this year”, said Simbeyi.

The SLFA League is expected to kick off on as per the release FAM calendar of events which is the kick off date for the super league and all regional leagues.
