Flames team manager James Sandals has hailed the Malawi National football team striker Gabadinyo Mhango for the spirit he showed in his sides win over Boyne Tigers in the Nedbank Cup match played on Wednesday.

Mhango, who has fallen out of favour of Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt returned to the staring line up and proved a point that he deserves to be regular playing for the Clever Boys with his performance a thing that delighted the Flames team manager.

“I was happy to see Gabadinyo Mhango’s play and to see him play for the whole 90 minutes and the spirit he showed in the game. It’s important for every play to have game time and this will help him be in shape ahead for the Flames game in March at home against Morocco as we rely on them as professionals”, Sangala said.

Bidvest Wits defeated Boyen Tigers in the Nedbank Cup match on Wednesday by 4 goals to 0 and Mhango had an assist in the games 4th goal scored by Simon Murray.
