Former Be Forward Wanderers Football Club captain Joseph Kamwendo has terminated his contract with South African National First Division side Tshakhuma Tsa Madzivhandila Football Club which he joined after successful trials in January 2019.
Kamwendo who once played for Orlando Pirates Football Club in South Africa was seen at the Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday when Be Forward Wanderers played against Blue Eagles Football Club said he has parted ways with the Limpopo based side due to personal reasons.
“I am back home as things didn’t go as I expected . I tried talking to the officials of the team but things were turning from bad to worse.
“There is a lot that happened there but I don’t regret signing for them and it’s an achievement for a player of my age to secure a deal in South African second tier league “, Kamwendo said.
The 32 year old midfielder is expected to rejoin his parent club Be Forward Wanderers as he has done in the past after return from playing professional football in Denmark, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique .
