Malawi under 17 national football team lost 2-1 to Eswatin in their second group match in the going COSAFA youth championship.

The jnr flames who had a fine start to the campaign by defeating South Africa, were on top of their game in the first half but Lesotho defense was good enough.

In the second half, the jnr flames took the lead in the 61st minute when Noel Sakala saw his dummy shot into the net.

Few minutes later, Siphepheso equalized for Eswatin before Khayalethu Zitha scored the winner for Eswatin.

Zambia now top group A with 6 points as they won 7-0 against Zambia in their second group match.

Malawi will face Zambia in a must win game on Wednesday to progress to the next round of the tournament.
