Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has announced the 2019 FISD cup edition will roll into action next week.

According to the FA the competition was delayed due to some problems but now everything is in place.

FAM’s competitions manager Gomezgani Zakazaka has said the competition format has change this year.

“According to how we planned for the competition we are late with two weeks. For that reason the competition will only accommodate all super league teams and few teams from the regional leagues that did well by the end of the first round”, he said.
MAFCO, Airborne rangers and Silver Strikers reserve will represent the central region. Red lions, Hangover United and sebla will represent the southern region with Baka city and

Ekwendeni hammers representing the north.

The draw is set for Wednesday 18th September at Mpira village in Blantyre.
Be Forward Wanderers are the defending champions having won the cup last year.
