Malawi national football team coach Meke Mwase has named a 27 member squad of local based players to go into camp on Monday to face Lesotho in a friendly match.

The Flames mentor, has in the squad most of the players that were part of the 2022 Qatar FIFA world cup qualifiers. TNM super league defending champions Bullets , has contributed 12 players.

Strikers Foster Bitoni and Chikaiko Batson have earned call ups.
The Flames will play Lesotho twice in Maseru on Friday and Sunday.

The team is expected to leave for Lesotho on Thursday with foreign based players to join the rest of the players in Johannesburg, South Africa.
