Silver strikers Football Club is a Malawian Football Club based in the capital city of Malawi, Lilongwe Area 49. The club is believed to have started as a social team for the Reserve Bank of Malawi, this is the reason the Reserve Bank of Malawi continue to sponsor the team.
The Central Bankers as they are called by their supporters, is one of the largest clubs in Malawi and has produced players such as Young Chimodzi snr, John Maduka, Charles Swini, Frank Banda, Ndaziona Chatsalila just to mention a few.

HISTORY OF THE SILVER STRIKERS
Silver Strikers have been a Reserve Bank of Malawi sponsored team since it started as a social team for the bank. The Bankers as they are nicknamed by their supporters have a one touch type of football which is described as the umodzi umodzi wa kilombe type of football.
In 2018 the club participated in the African Confederation Cup (CAF) where they failed to progress to the second round of the competition as they were booted out on post match penalties by Cercle Mberi Sportif of Gabon by 4 goals to 3 after it ended in a one all on aggregate.
