Africa is an amazing place. Made up of 54 countries, the most spoken language is Arabic, hottest continent, largest dessert and of course the most beautiful people. Here are a few things I bet you didn’t know about Africa.
1) There are fewer people with internet connections in Africa than there are in just New York City.
2) Over 25 million people are HIV-positive on the continent and over 17 million have died of the disease already.
3) Approximately 90% of all cases of malaria worldwide occur in Africa, accounting for 24% of all child deaths in sub-Saharan Africa.
4) Africa is the world’s second largest continent covering about over 30 million square kilometres
