ADVISORY: Heavy rain will continue over more areas and may trigger flash floods in some places, particularly low-lying and flood prone areas in the North, Centre and along the lake shore. Therefore, take precautionary measures, such as not crossing flooded rivers.
WIND IN MOST AREAS
Light and variable often with gusty winds in stormy areas.
Shire Valley: This includes areas along Shire river, Lakes Chilwa and Chiuta Valleys.
Isolated thunderstorms and showers during morning and in the afternoon.
Forecast temperatures for Ngabu:
Southern Highlands: This area includes Shire highlands, Kirk Range up to Dedza.
Cloudy conditions with isolated thunder showers during morning and later in the day.
Forecast temperatures for Blantyre
Central Areas: This area includes Lilongwe, Mchinji, Dowa, Ntchisi, Kasungu and part of Mzimba District
Expect cloudy with localised heavy thunderstorms during morning and in the afternoon.

Lakeshore Areas: This includes areas along Lake Malawi.
Heavy thunderstorms and rain during morning. Cloudy with heavy thunderstorms in the afternoon
Forecast temperatures for Mangochi
Northern Areas: This includes all areas north of Mzimba
Heavy rain and thunderstorms during morning and in the afternoon.
