AFRICA
2017 (Malawi) – The Lake Stars festival, Malawian biggest music and arts celebrated thirteen years.

1998 (DRC) – In Congo troops of President Kabila were sent to quell a rebellion by Mai-Mai tribal warriors. A human rights group, Azadho, later charged the troops in a massacre of over 300 civilians in Butembo.
